Alokatha, meaning "tale of light," takes its form from an eight-petaled bloom, each petal carved with delicate leaves and berries, radiating from a smooth, sunlit center. A beaded border frames the whole design like a ring of light holding the story together a piece meant to catch and share light the way a story is passed from one person to the next.
